Chugiak High roundup offers sneak preview to incoming ninth-graders
Incoming ninth-graders can learn more about life at Chugiak High with the school's annual Mustang Roundup, set for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the school. Learn about academic courses and selections, talk to coaches, band and orchestra directors, club sponsors and more. From 6:30 to 7:15 p.m., in the cafeteria, parents and class members will have an opportunity to meet staff and faculty of different programs and activities at the school. Afterward, the program moves to the auditorium, where the counselors will introduce the administrative staff, cover basic "What Do I Do If..." information, along with the graduation requirements for obtaining a diploma. Mustang Roundup helps streamline the ninth-grade course request process, which is scheduled for Feb. 22-23. Questions can be directed to the school at 742-3050.
