Amanda Hesser of Eagle River is a senior at the University of Alaska Anchorage studying psychology. She recently was accepted to present her senior honors thesis on parental influences on college drinking at the National Association of Psychological Sciences convention at the end of May in Washington D.C. Amanda will be graduating May 1, 2011, magna cum laude with a bachelors of arts in psychology and a minor in dance. She will also be receiving university and departmental honors.
Krista Lundberg of Eagle River and Ashley Dixon of Fort Richardson made the Seattle Pacific University 2010 autumn quarter dean's list. Students on the dean's list have completed at least 12 credits and attained a 3.5 or higher grade point average.
