Carolyn Jean Bromley
Carolyn (Carol) Jean Bromley, 70, a 28-year resident of Eagle River, died May 5, 2011, as the result of a car accident that also claimed the life of her twin sister Marilyn Sue Wilkin.
A local memorial service will be held for Bromley at 5 p.m. June 2 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. A celebration of life will follow from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 17545 N. Eagle River Loop Road. Dinner will be served.
Bromley is survived by her husband, retired U.S. Air Force Capt. Raymond Bromley, whom she married July 18, 1964, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.; her sons and their spouses, Raymond and Diana Bromley, Jr., of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Keith and Dianne Bromley of Austin, Texas; her mother, Dorothy Gnau Brewer of Dayton, Ohio; her brother and spouse Richard and Karen Brewer of Cleveland; nine grandchildren, Lauren, Emily, Nick, Jane, Ryan, Danny, David, Dylan and Duncan; and two adopted grandchildren, Nicole and Jamie Barkley.
