Sam Carlson, of Chugiak, will wed Christina Cummings, of Fairbanks, on July 30, 2011 at Birch Hill Recreation Area in Fairbanks. The bride is the daughter of Linda and Wally Kreider of Ketchikan and Warren and Cathy Cummings of Fairbanks. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a B.A. in Elementary Education. The groom is the son of Todd and Jenny Carlson of Chugiak. He works for the City of Fairbanks and is set to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2012. The couple will honeymoon in Colorado and live in Fairbanks upon their return.

Kristopher Wagoner, of Peters Creek, and Shelby Spicer, of Chugiak, were married on June 4, 2011 at Sheep Creek Lodge. The bride is the daughter of Sally Spicer and the late Larry Spicer. She is a Chugiak High graduate who is employed at Credit Union One. The groom is the son of David and Sonya Wagoner. He is a Chugiak High graduate and has a BAS from the Universtiy of Wyoming and a Master's from UAA.

The wedding weekend included a Friday "old fashion Alaska Carharrt overall welcome party," followed by a Saturday ceremony outdoors under a blue tarp. The 150 guests then danced the night away at the lodge. The couple plans an October Carribean cruise for their honeymoon.

Ed McComb officiated the wedding, Lacee Ferguson served as Maid of Honor, Keith Wagoner was the Best Man. Bridesmaids were Krystle Johnson and Krystal Hallman, groomsmen were Thomas Clifton and Larry Spicer.
