Jonathan Lee Ferguson, 6, died at Providence Alaska Medical Center on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Kings Way Ministry, 10336 Eagle River Loop Road, in Eagle River. Pallbearers will be Adam Ferguson, Jesse Ferguson, Bryan Ferguson, Brent Ferguson, Matt Frenzel and Dave Frenzel.

Jonathan was born on Oct. 14, 2004, in Anchorage. He loved cars, the outdoors, good jokes and always loved to ride his bike.

The family wrote, "Jon was always ready with a hug and smile. He loved his cars and outdoor adventures."

He is survived by his parents, Adam and Katherine Ferguson; his brother, Benjamin; his sisters, Megan and Emilie; his grandparents, Bryan and Heidi Ferguson and David and Ann Frenzel; great-grandparents, Keith and Betty Ferguson and Arnold and Norma Link; uncles and aunts, Jesse and Kristina Ferguson, Lacee Ferguson, Matt and Season Frenzel; great-uncles and aunts, Alan and Sally McCollor, Pat and Deb McCollar, Monica McCollor, Monica McCollor, Brent and JT Ferguson; cousins Aaron, Amanda, Brendon, Tanner and Alissa; and numerous other uncles, aunts and cousins.

Donations may be made to Northrim Bank, account #7101483266; checks can be made out to Adam or Katie Ferguson.

Arrangements were by Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel. Jonathan will be laid to rest at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery.
